Clean & Distorted is the title of a far-reaching solo-program and therefore also the title of my first big solo-production published at austrian grammophon.
Klaus Haidl – Clean & Distorted
The program itself includes all kinds of music and instruments from the middle ages to the current day, re-discoveries from history as well as premieres and tried-and-tested classics of music history.
Each music era and style was confronted with clean (established) and distorted (experimental) sounds. What was still distorted (new) for the last fashion is for the subsequent clean (normal) and ultimately brought us where we are today.
